Violin

String Quartet at Christmas Mass

Colin plays violin in the St Matthias Music ministry.  During Christmas mass he was part of a string quartet that played during the transition between the Christmas Pageant and the Mass.

Recital - Bach

Colin Raab performs Bach Sonata # 1 in D minor, Presto Movement.
  • October 2014, during the semi-annual recital hosted by his violin instructor.

Acting & Singing

SF Conservatory of Music 

Colin participated in the two week Gilbert & Sullivan Scenes Program in June 2013 and 2014.
Run by Lamplighters Music Theatre at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, the program culminates with a performance of 36 scenes from different operettas which feature the various youth actors.  Colin played lead roles in several scenes including these two as the Duke of Plaza Toro from The Gondoliers.

Hamlet Soliloquy

"To be or not to be" 

Colin delivers Hamlet's famous monologue in his North Star Academy 8th grade English class during a poetry module, December 2014.  Preparation time was less than a week including three fifteen-minute lunch sessions with Ms.Tagano.
